The author of the research trying to find out the views of students and teachers of physical education about winter sports and their teaching. Research was conducted at all of the high schools in Martin district. The main objective of the research was to analyze the available bibiographic sources, one of which was based on the theoretical part of the monograph. One of the main tasks was using its questionnaire methods to find out the ipinions and interests of the students and teachers of physical education at high school on winter sports and their teaching in Martin district. The research sample consisted of 535 students and 26 teachers of physical education. The individual respondents were evaluated from the perspective of intersexual relationships (between boys and girls). Based on results of the research the the author found out a great interest of high school students in the winter sports teaching and teachers´ physical education teaching snowboarding incompetence in the teaching course of physical activities in nature, with a focus on winter sports.
